Procedures
- Download the application form from the menu at the left and answer all questions. Proposals submitted in any other format will not be considered.
- Submit to your Department Chair by 5:00 PM on the deadline date. If you are a student, make sure your proposal has also been signed by your faculty sponsor.
- Proposals will be considered three times a year, in Winter, Spring/Summer, and Fall semesters (deadlines are the last Friday in January, April, and September, respectively). Proposals must be submitted by the posted deadline to be considered for funding in that semester.
- Award announcements will be made within two weeks of the proposal deadline, and funds will be distributed immediately or when all conditions of award are met.
- Funds may be used for the approved purpose only, as outlined in your proposal and/or specified in the award letter. Surplus funds must be returned for reallocation. If, after an award has been granted, circumstances arise that necessitate a change in the approved project or budget, a revised proposal must be submitted for reconsideration by the committee. Use the same format for revised proposals as for original requests. Unless there is a compelling reason to make an exception, revised proposals will be ranked and considered with new proposals during the next round of awards.
- Mail thank-you letters to the Fultons and include a copy with your final report.
Ira & Mary Lou Fulton
3318 East Cherokee
Phoenix AZ 85044 - As you proceed with your project, consider ways to record your progress in both written and visual forms. A well-kept record will be useful in preparing your final report, and photos depicting our Fulton-funded projects help us show the donors a return on their investment. (Please include captions with photos and, if possible, submit them in high-resolution electronic format).
- At the conclusion of your project, download the final report form from the menu at the left and summarize the results and impact of your activity, research, or service project by answering the questions. Submit the report to your academic department chair.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Your final report is due to the committee 30 days after the completion of your project. For our tracking purposes, we have assigned a due date based on the timeline included in your proposal. If you experience delays in your project and your completion date slips, please contact you department chair to request an extension.
If you have an overdue report on any proposal deadline date, you will NOT be eligible for new funding. Likewise, if you are a faculty sponsor on a student project that is delinquent, the committee will not consider any new projects on which you are named as an applicant or sponsor. Check your eligibility here.
